There are two types of vinyl flooring available.

Printed: The design is printed onto the vinyl to produce an endless variety of colors and patterns. The printed flooring is then covered with a wear layer to enhance visual, maintenance, and performance characteristics.   Inlaid: The chips of raw material are combined in a particular design and then fused together through a heat process. While this process can be limiting in vinyl design, its main advantages are durability and that dents are hidden because the colors go through the vinyl.
